Yesterday was Biopsy time.
The team included Dr Javaid, Nurse Tzaddi, and SCSW Maria
Dr Javaid didn’t have a Black & Decker Hammer Drill, didn’t have a screwdriver, and didn’t even have a hole punch.
His first (slightly strange) first words to me were “l like your trousers. They’re corduroy aren’t they”.
As the biopsy progressed, Nurse Tzaddi, bless her, was absolutely determined to keep me in conversation – and totally distracted from other, medical, things that were happening behind me.
We talked about holidays, nurses accommodation and landlords increasing prices, and the Philippines.
After about 30 minutes, Dr Javaid said “that’s it … all done” and honestly, I struggled to believe him.
I’d felt more or less nothing!
Unlike the biopsy I had in February last year.
Dr Javaid, Tzaddi, and Maria were an excellent team.
Don’t look if you’re a bit squeemy, here’s some of what was taken from my Pelvic bone.
