Month: February 2023
DAY 104
Itβs a Hubble Bubble day, and amongst other things, that means lots of steroids. These seem to be hitting me much harder than last yearπ Here are some of the Side Effects which are definitely with me. They arrive very quickly β¦ All three of the last one, are all mine! So if you should… Continue reading DAY 104
DAY 103
Definitely better than yesterday ππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ Itβs so wonderful when things are improving β¦ even when thereβs more Hubble Bubble tomorrow morning π
DAY 102
Both quite tired β¦ BUT things are improving β¦ SLOWLY π I drive us to Maidstone, and go into my first shop in over 4 months – Halfords to get a new car battery (in the hope that the alarm wonβt start again in the middle of the night) ππ Chemo Ken is really messing… Continue reading DAY 102
DAY 101

DAY 99
This is roughly how I walk on these steroid days – though very much more slowly. But optimism is rising on DAY 99, that it wonβt be long before Iβm much less βduckyβ! π€£ I can start redoing all of the vaccinations Iβve ever had, from tomorrow. Itβll take about a year to get them… Continue reading DAY 99
DAY 98
A day of gentle improvement β¦ for both of us. I feel as though weβre living the lives of two people in really badly written book. How on Earth did we both end up needing crutches? Monday and Tuesday are the days when Iβm full of steroids, and βusuallyβ rushing through the day doing lots… Continue reading DAY 98
DAY 97
A lot happened today. This morning at 11am, we both went to our local Hospital. I dropped Mandy at the main entrance, so that she could have an X-Ray and check up (after her fall, in the garden, a week ago). After that, I carried on to the Chemo Ken area, for Blood Tests, and… Continue reading DAY 97
DAY 96
Almost there π Iβll be starting Cycle 2, or Cycle 6 β¦ depending on how you look at it, tomorrow. This will be the last Cycle of this second lot of Chemo Ken, and it should finish on 18th March πππππ€π₯³π₯²
