Yesterday’s blood test was fine, though I didn’t particularly want to go to hospital for it.
It felt like the horrible time, when holidays end, and school/work starts again.
In the afternoon, I phoned the specialist nurses to check on a few things. First I asked for the results of my last two blood tests, and they seem to be okish (see yesterday’s post). Secondly, I asked, exactly what, if any, medication I should be taking right now after the biopsy, and before maintenance treatment.
I was told Calcium, Aciclovir and Co Trimoxazol.
I had not been told that before 😳 …
I probably would not have picked up an infection if I’d been taking these, because Co Trimoxazol fights bacterial infection – it contains two powerful antibiotics .
It kills bacteria …
The Nurse said that it’s important to remember that my immune system is not 100% yet.
I asked about the Biopsy results which I should have had last week – but there’s still no bloomin sign of them 🙄🙄
