Yesterday I mentioned that we were hoping to find calmer waters … 🙂🙂
Well yesterday evening we hit even more stormy times🫤🙁
I was pottering about in the kitchen, doing domestic stuff, when I heard Mandy’s voice … I thought that she was talking to our feral cat visitor in the garden (it was about 6:30, and dark).
I carried on doing stuff … then I heard Mandy’s voice again.
So I called back, and went to find her.
To my horror, there was a pile of Mandy on the ground, looking very frightened 😱
She’d fallen, near some steps. I tried not to panic … tried to be very positive, strong, and manly – though inside I was frightened too.
We managed to get her up, though she was obviously damaged.
Once inside, and on a settee in the lounge with a cup of tea, and some honey (for shock) – we tested her blood pressure & pulse rate.
They were all rocket high, and the Atrial Fibrillation warning was showing – clearly in SHOCK (to my frightened amateur medical mind)
I don’t want to scare people … I wanted to call for an Ambulance and get her checked out … but the thought of that stressed her even more, bless her.
Anyway to jump forward quickly …
- I helped Mandy get slowly and painful upstairs
- she had a really good night’s sleep 🙂
- THIS MORNING HER BLOOD PRESSURE WAS BACK TO NORMAL 😊😊
- THIS MORNING THERE WAS NO SIGN OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION 😊😊
And now, we’re both moving like old and very damaged people – but we can still smile 😊 😊
I had Chemo Ken again today, and I had to drive to hospital with, very serious anxiety, alone.
But I was brave.
I’m definitely changing my name to ROCKY.
Oh flippin heck!! I’m so glad Mandy’s alright!
Lots of love to you both Xxx ♥️♥️
