Today started well, but rapidly went downhill.
I was given a copy of my blood yeast results. My Neutrophils are very low, as expected.
Neutrophils are a very important part of our body’s immune defence system.
Yesterday my Neutrophil value was 0.02. Today it’s 0.05 So things are improving.
I was pondering over this, as the Consultant and her team appeared in front of me. After the now normal questions, I asked ‘what should my Neutrophils be when I’m discharged?’ The answer ‘1.0, for safety’
Oh dear, I may need a spreadsheet and graph 😋
I can understand why the doctor laughed the other day, when I asked if I might be leaving this week.
P.S. I’m still pinned down by my multiheaded drip infusion machine, and will be for the next 3+ hours 🙄
*Sending positive Neutrophil boosting vibes*
