DAY 30

Well today is DAY 30.  I need to track the DAY count because it’s a progress measure.

Everything is going well, but the snow and ice are annoying. Because of that, we can’t get to hospital for my blood tests.

I’ve just spoken to the Hospital staff, and my blood tests will now be done on Monday.

For the moment, we can relax.  I’m feeling okay, not 100% of what I was, nor 100% of what I will be.

At Sea

I’m sort of floating in the middle of a sea where I can see what I was before hospital treatment (behind me), and what I will be, hopefully, when I’m fully recovered (in front of me).

I’m eating better, as days go by, and my appetite recovers … so I’m very slowly becoming stronger … but it’s a very slow process. Patience is everything.

Writing the HubbleBubble blog has been a bit tricky because my energy level is a bit low … but it’s improving.

Thank you for reading HubbleBubble 😊

  1. And better to be AT HOME and safe away from the NASTY icy roads and paths out there. Stay home, build strength – and when you get measured they will be BLOWN away at your charts.

  2. Well what a difference a week makes !
This time last week I was nervous at the thought of you coming home and all that we were expected and needed to do to protect you and keep you safe X
Once home and able to have that initial big hug and chat -then sit in loves silence that says ok I’m here your there we can face tomorrow together we don’t need to talk about it anymore 😊
What we have to do and need to do is not so bad ! 😘
That is how it’s going from day to day, snow has bound us to the house but that’s not a bad thing , gives us time to adjust to a slower pace of life . Work out a sort of routine and adjust the shopping list that doesn’t require the same amount of food as usual due to your change of taste buds and reduced appetite 😊
You’re doing well (it doesn’t matter you need an afternoon snooze) fatigue will disappear in it’s own time .
In the 70 days left (before we get to 100 days) we have for you to isolate a bit , boost your immune system , exercise body and mind 🤣 before the next set of treatment we can achieve a “ very lot” and you can find yourself again ( your still there ) even if you don’t have eyebrows for a while 😘.The bit we dreaded and you have bravely gone through is past .
Sorry we can’t visit for Christmas folks or for some time to come but we can chat chat chat keeping you updated on this blog of happenings

The shortest day will come soon and all will be well .

We will be back in the garden before we know it!

There will be low days there will be high days that’s how life goes

    Well done Mr Allen

  3. The feeling of drifting at sea can be hard at times, especially in a body of water with a layer of ice, dotted with icebergs! The currents are pushing in your favour – as you say, be patient.

Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help make the time more enjoyable.
